Rosmarie Amacher’s label à ma chère is Swiss haute couture. The couturière has been creating exclusive one-off pieces since the early 1980s. Rosemarie Amacher’s designs always focus on her personality.

Rosmarie Amacher is a professional couturière on Torgasse in Zurich.
For decades, she has been driven by a passion for haute couture and by her eye for perfect tailoring. Her label à ma chère stands for made-to-measure clothing and sustainability.

Our philosophy
Wear only what really fits, that brings you style, time and leisure. This is the philosophy of à ma chère. It involves two things. The sustainable fabrics of the highest quality and the body of the one wearing it. Our craftsmanship acts as a mediator between the fabric and the person. For à ma chère, being dressed means wearing clothes that fit perfectly, clothing must bring your personality to the front, it must make you feel attractive.
History
30 years of experience
Only the best is good enough.
Even during her training as a master tailor, Rosmarie Amacher worked only with the best materials. In 1983, she founded her own atelier, and regularly travelled to the haute couture shows in Paris. “You can only learn from the best.”
In 1992, “à ma chère” takes over the representation of fabric producers, such as Carnet and founds the fabric store “Le Coupon”. So today there are about 4000 different fabrics to choose from. In the 2000s, Rosmarie Amacher purchased the printing blocks of the legendary Wiener Werkstätte and designed her own fabric collection in 2017.

Sustainably produced fabric collection based on the old patterns of the wooden printing blocks of the Wiener Werkstätten and interpreting them in a new and creative way.
